Our Library of Things system is designed for the community to simply borrow an item when needed instead of buying new to use just once. Reduce the waste stream, prevent clutter in your home, and save your hard-earned money.

The Library of Things gives you quick access to things that already exist. Rather than consume more, borrow what is already circulating.

How It Works

  • Make an account through Lend Engine, the software we use to keep this system running smoothly. Or you can get a Reuse Hub Membership if you plan to borrow often. To get a membership, visit The Hub or call us at (707) 774-6039. You can also get a membership through Give Butter, and you’ll receive a Library of Things login within 48 hours.

  • Have a project in mind? Look through the categories to find the item you need. We have a wide variety of things in our inventory, including some that could help you tackle that random hobby you’ve been wanting to try. Be sure to take a look at everything in our catalog. Once you’ve found what you want, reserve the dates you’d like to borrow the item.

  • After your item(s) is reserved, we will let you know when it’s available for pickup within 48 hours. Once confirmed, you can come to The Reuse Hub for pickup during our store hours, Wed-Sun, 12- 6 pm.

  • Bring your items back clean once your borrowing period is over so the next person can get started. If the item is brought back late and dirty, you will be charged a fee! Be a good neighbor and return it how you received it on time.
