- Member Benefits

“By being a part of this network I’ve come to realize the true power of collaboration. It’s amazing what can be envisioned when we work together to benefit the whole rather than just struggling separately. Many reuse organizations don’t have enormous resources, but by coming together we can achieve great things.”

Luis Jimenez, Director of Donor Relations, Goodwill of NY/NJ

MEMBER SERVICES

Member Promotion

It’s our mission to spread the word about reuse, and about our members. Each month we distribute an e-newsletter to our members and friends — within the newsletter we do a feature one of our partner-level members.  Likewise, if our members let us know that they are having a special promotion or event, we gladly post it on our social media platforms.

Education Opportunities

Free Training: Members will have access to our innovative and informative Master Reuser ®Program.

Master Reuser®is Reuse Alliance’s “train the trainer” certificate program. This webinar-based training program allows us to support the entire reuse community (public & reuse organizations) around the country in cost-effective, time-efficient, and eco-friendly manner. Master Reuser® encompasses two separate modules of training: Reuse Sector Training (recruiting now) and Community Advocate Training (coming soon).

Service Discounts & Referrals

Discounts on a wide-range of External Services: While our referrals are not an endorsement of any of the following companies, we have refer you to products & services we know and/have used. Please note that “discounts” are only for dues-paying members, but “referrals” are open to ALL.

Research & Development

To follow dynamic changes in the reuse sector, we plan to carry out a variety of research projects. These will include the development of a comprehensive reuse database, and a variety of project-related research topics (e.g. “Triple Bottom Line Benefits of Reuse”, “Reuse Sector Data Standards Project”, “Reuse Sector Jobs” study).

Outreach & Advocacy

We work at a national level to affect change  at the policy level. We also speak at events to promote reuse and our members.
